Artist Statement:
Ponder Lust is an exhibit of true mixed media art that has been created with a combination of fabric, canvas, thread, watercolor, ink drawing, and words. It encompasses time, relationships, and thoughts about oneself as well as others. Hints of tender, deep softheartedness and humor are paired with fabric, patches, pockets, and well-worn memories. It’s a bit of mind-mending. They are wonder, anger, joy, lust, and the soft comfortable feeling of sentiment. —Amy Mietzel
